Sandabs really is “Scotts Valley’s best kept secret”. It is located within the historic Camp Evers complex.
In olden days, Camp Evers was a store and rest stop for weary travelers coming from or going to Santa Clara on the old stage route. It was then a few buildings with a store and some lovely oak trees that offered a place to rest and lunch before traveling on. Sandabs hopes to offer travelers that same point of respite today.
Today’s Camp Evers is a small complex of attached commercial units, behind which you will find tucked that old store now remodeled to house Sandabs Seafood and Wine Bar.
Coming from the North or South on Rt. 17, take the Mt. Hermon exit. Proceed on Mt. Hermon road until it intersects with Scotts Valley Drive. You will know it by gas stations on 3 corners and the Camp Evers strip mall on the 4th. Turn right onto Scotts Valley Drive — go to the very next stoplight at Bean Creek Road (it’s quick so be careful). Make a U-turn.
Now comes the fun part! Make a right turn into the strip mall by Maya’s restaurant and …head for the dumpsters behind it …that’s a landmark you won’t forget!
Veer left beyond the dumpsters and you will find yourself in the Sandabs Seafood and Wine Bar parking lot. Park and come on in! You owe yourself a relaxing glass of wine.

Closed on Mondays.
